The latest version of 3.19 that is Need for Speed: The Run has been officially announced by Need for Speed Developers through their facebook profile. This game is mostly action based and potrays a storyline behind it . This is set for its release on 15th of this November and will feature a linear story mode which places the player in the shoes of Jackson ‘Jack’ Rourke. This person is left bad standing after he gets involved in a mysterious crime, flees for survival. As a result of his situation, he seems to end up incurring a huge amounts of debts that is entirely unaffordable by him to get himself released .
In the mean time, he is directed to an illegal massive street racing event called ‘THE RUN’ organized by an associate by name, Sam. As per the conditions laid down, the prize money of $ 25,00,000 to that one who reaches the finish line after beating 200 players all through a journey of 3000 miles right from San Francisco to Newyork city. Inorder to complicate things, both the criminal organization and the police always try to hinder him from winning the race. The story is divided into five acts and in the case of the 3DS version, the protagonist is not Jack but it is his down- to- his -luck stock car racer ‘MATT’. This will also feature a female character who tends to take the story in a different direction.
