All you need to do is instead of Gmail, choosing Microsoft Exchange should be done while setting up a new Email Account. With this you will not only able to get accessed to the calendars and the contacts but also be able to synchronize almost anything on your iOS devices.
Follow the below steps :
* First, On your iOS device and Navigate to Settings option, where you need to again navigate to a section named “Mail,Contacts,Calendars” and there you will be seeing an option ” Add Account” on which you must tap on.
* Now Microsoft Exchange must be chosen from there as the account type instead of Gmail.
* Under EMAIL section you need to type in your Gmail address and then the field for Domain should be left empty. In the Username field including the suffixes like @googlemail.com or @gmail.com you must give your full Gmail address and finally give the password by adding a short description.
* Now on the top of the screen you will be seeing a Next button on which you must tap on and soon after that a message will pop up that says ” Unable to Verify Certificate “. So if you get that message just tap on Cancel. Then at the top of the screen in new Server box an input m.google.com must be typed and finally Press the Next button.
After setting up all this you will be facing no issues with the push notifications and there will be no need of any manual syncs as update will be done in real-time.
