Easily Download/Upload All Your Email Attachments To Dropbox :

Dropbox is an excellent service which you can use for Storage,synchronizing all you important data online. You get lots of email attachments into your inbox which you might be interested to sync or save to your Dropbox account. Onething you can do is manually download each attachment and put it into dropbox folder which is impractical if the number of attachments are many. So the idea is to download all the attachments or the attachments from a specific date or label to dropb0x folder on your PC periodically , such that it will upload and sync your email attachments to online dropbox account. This is a quite organized way of doing the work , isnt it ? Now lets get started and see how its done.

How To Download/Upload Multiple Email Attachments To Dropbox :

Step 1

The basic requirements are  :

1.) Dropbox  installed on you computer and 2.) Mail Attachment Downloader.

So make sure that you have downloaded both and installed them on your Computer.

Step 2

Make sure that IMAP is enable in your email account settings . Otherwise enable it and save the changes.

Step 3

Now launch the Mail Attachment Downloader to configure settings. Give your email address from which you want to download attachments and also give your password. Then in the Save location option , browse and choose the path Dropbox Folder that is present on your computer.

Step 4

Now click on the Mail Server tab  and there you choose the email service that your are using. There are also options for choosing specific filters and folders in your email account from which you can download. Just check them out. You can even provide the dates and download the attachments from between those particular dates.

Step 5

As we want the download to be automatic, Click on General options tab and fix a schedule of your choice. Also click on Run at the startup option so that the program will launch automatically at the startup.

Step 6

Thats it ! Now you are set to go ! Click on connect and download option which will start download all your Email attachments specificied in the settings to Dropbox folder, which inturn will sync the files to your online Dropbox Account !

Note : I am aware of the fact that there are few unique email address providing services which can do this work for you ! As far as I see many of these services seem to fail most of the time. If you have found any such service that works fine, comment below !
