Step 1
There is a downgrader software to Downgrade Windows Media Player 12 To Windows Media Player 11 which you have to download.

Step 2
Now just navigate to the Windows 7 Search Bar and then must type “Services.msc” there inorder to open the services application.
Step 3
There you must be able to find the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and you need to Stop it.
Step 4
Now Ownership of several files must be taken by you :
* All the files that are in the Program Files > Folder – Windows Media Player
* All the files that starts with wmp in the Folder – System 32
* A file named wmploc.dll.mui in the Folder – System 32 en-us
Step 5
Now its time to run and quick launch your Installer of WMP 11 that you had already downloaded.
Step 6
Now open the search bar again and then type Regedit inorder to make some changes to your registry keys.
Step 7
The registry editor will be opened and there you need to find and delete the following registry key.
Step 8
Once it is done save the settings and Restart your Windows PC such that the changes will take effect.
