For business and brands, Google has launched its own +YouTube and +Google Pages on Google Plus.All the information about the internal events,staff photos and other official info will be featured on to the +Google Page. Where as on +YouTube Page,all the events that are live streamed, also the music and other latest updates on YouTube will be shared.Just like how your Google+ profile page looks, these brand pages are also set in the same fashion.

For the Google’s official communications, the +Google page might not be helpful but adding up the Photos and other information might bring an environment similar to that of Facebook for businesses. By seeing this other users in Google+ might get interested in setting up their own Pages which might be the Google’s other reason for launching it’s own pages first.
A Google Circle consisting of its brand pages is made by Google which you can see here. As Facebook provide many pages for different organizations,businesses – now Google has finally made it’s way to connect with more people and places by introducing these Pages on Google+. It’s main aim to use Pages on Google+ is to build a strong relationship with the things we use , as till now we are just connecting to people.
